The Hyundai Elantra gets Front Ventilated Seats, Connected Car Technology and Wireless Charging as first in its segment.
Hyundai has just launched the much awaited facelift version of the 2019 Elantra and the sedan comes with new styling as well as first in class technologies. The bookings for the updated Elantra has already begun in the last week of September.
For starters, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra facelift brings subtle changes to the exteriors, refreshed interiors and updated technology. It is now sharper than the older model with the triangular shaped headlight design, angular front bumpers and sharper creases.
Hyundai’s signature cascading grille also seems to have grown in size. The rear profile is completely new with redesigned bumpers and addition of skid plates to give a macho look. It also gets a new 16-inch alloy wheel design.

The facelifted Elantra gets some of the exclusive features like Wireless charging and Front Ventilated Seats which are first in its segment. It also gets new instrument cluster with Multi Information Display, Auto cruise control, 10-way power adjustable seats with lumbar support, shark fin antenna and among others.
It also borrows the BlueLink connected car technology from the Venue. It comes with 34 features including 10 exclusive India specific features which are classified under 7 services in the form of Safety, Security, Remote Operations, Vehicle Relationship Management, Geographic Information Services, Alert Services and Voice Recognition.

Safety features of the updated Elantra stick to Six Airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, Seatbelt Reminder, Rear Parking Sensors, Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock & Impact Sensing Auto Door Unlock.
It also gets advanced features like Hill Hold Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Front Parking Sensors, Rear parking camera, Front and Rear Disc Brake and among others.
One major change with the facelifted sedan is the inclusion of a 2.0L BS6 compliant petrol engine. It churns out 152 bhp at 6200 rpm and 196 Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. Transmission option includeS a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed AT. It also ditches the turbocharged diesel unit with the new model.
