Tata Nexon Kraz limited edition was first launched on September 5, 2018, and came with the XT trim.
The Tata Nexon is the most favoured car after the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Mahindra XUV300. The sub-compact SUV is the safest of the lot, no doubt in that, and carries a unique styling. But the yearly sales of Tata has been down and to boost up this, the company is planning to launch a 2019 Kraz Edition of Nexon.
Also, the 2019 Tata Nexon Kraz edition is expected to come in new colour shade and some added features too. The teaser reflects black as the primary colour and red/orange as accents.
The limited-edition can be launched with a dual-paint job with black being the primary colour. The orange accents will be highlighted on the front grille, ORVMs and onto the wheel caps.

The interior pattern will also see a similar colour scheme and will follow orange highlights in the cabin. The orange highlight will take upon the air vents, seat upholstery, dashboard, steering accent and the door panels.
The Kraz edition will come in two trims, Kraz and Kraz+ and is likely to be based on the top-end trims, XZ and XZ+. Around exactly one year ago on Sept 5, 2018, Kraz edition was introduced for the first time in the Nexon.
The limited-edition will come in both petrol and diesel engine options. Tata Nexon comes in 1.2-litre petrol engine which churns out 108 bhp with a peak torque of 170 Nm. While the 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine produces 260 Nm torque and the power figure of 108 bhp remains the same. Transmission option for both stick to 6-speed manual gearbox and an AMT gearbox.
Talking about features then, Tata Nexon gets steering mounted controls, automatic climate control, reverse parking camera, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. It is equipped with an 8-speaker Harman audio system for the better sound experience.

The Nexon is also the first manufactured car in India to receive Global NCAP 5-star ratings which is an added advantage to its sales in the given segment. Safety features onboard include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Speed Sensing Door Lock, Child seat anchor points, Rear parking sensors and more.
In other news, Tata is also planning to launch Nexon EV by 2020. Spy shots of the same have been spotted on Indian roads. There are no details on the battery pack but is expected to feature a bigger battery than the Tigor EV. The latter uses a 16.2 kWh battery which produces 41 bhp and gives a driving range of 142 Km.
Once the Tata Nexon EV is launched it will provide a bigger driving rage along with a top speed of more than 100km/h. It will set its competition with the Mahindra eXUV300 which is also likely to be launched by next year.
