The prices for the upcoming variant with the split rear-sear design will see an expected premium of Rs 3k to Rs 5k.
It was just last month that Bajaj brought the new and affordable Pulsar 125 in the market and it was only available in a single trim, Neon. Now, recent spy shots reveal that Bajaj Pulsar 125 will get a new colour shade and will get the split seat design.
The split seat design was first seen on the Bajaj Pulsar 220cc followed by the discontinued 200 and then to 180, 150 and now to the most affordable 125. Also, with the split set design, the 125cc motorcycle will also be launched in a new paint shade.
The new model sports new graphics, paint shade and decals along with the signature split rear-seat design. There are reports that some dealers across India are accepting the bookings for the new variant and it is expected to cost Rs 3k to 5k more premium than the regular 125cc.

The Bajaj Pulsar split set design sees two colour options, Black with Red accents and Black with Blue accents. The decals present on the bike gives it a similar look like that found in 150 cc twin disc variant.
Talking about the engine, the Pulsar 125 uses a 124.6cc air-cooled engine that produces 12 BHP at 8500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The power figures are the best in the segment. The fuel tank capacity is 11.5 Litres and the bike weighs 140 kgs.
For the first time, a Pulsar is available with drum brakes. Bajaj offers a 170mm drum and a 130mm drum brake as standard and for around Rs 2,000 more, you can get disc brake. Both the variants come with CBS as standard.

The Pulsar 125 is available with a BS-4 engine as of now. It will go against the likes of Hero Glamour FI and Honda CB Shine SP, the latter being the best-selling 125cc motorcycle. The pricing for the same starts at Rs 64,000 to Rs 66,618 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
