Renault will discontinue their Lodgy MPV even before the BS6 emissions kick in. The MPV is only available in a diesel engine and this is the main reason why it will be axed out. It is priced at Rs 8.84 lakh for the base trim and top model fetches you around Rs 12.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Renault Lodgy is made available with a single 1.5-litre diesel engine which cannot be tuned to BS6 compliant. In addition, the French manufacturers will further discontinue the diesel engine from its portfolio post BS6 emission norms hit in.
With the discontinuation, models like Duster and Captur will remove diesel engine from its end. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is tuned into two states, 84 bhp with 200 Nm torque and 110 bhp with 245 Nm of peak torque.
