The updated Mahindra Mojo loses out on features like LED DRLs, Slipper clutch, both of which are found in the Bajaj Dominar 400.
After a long pause, the 2019 Mahindra Mojo is launched in the market with the much awaited dual channel ABS. The two wheeler was launched at a price of Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and receives a hike of Rs 4,000 against the old model.
Till now only the black shade of the bike was seen but now a Bangalore based dealer has shared a blue colour of the 2019 Mahindra Mojo ABS. Minor changes include in the front fender and tail section. On sale, the manufacturer only sells the Mojo in single tone colours as of now and it is not yet known if the dual colour options will be made available to the buyers.
The updated bike gets a 294.7cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which produces 26.3 bhp at 7,500 rpm with a peak torque of 28 Nm. The earlier XT trim came with liquid cooling and generated 27.1 bhp, whereas the UT300 produced 23.11 bhp with a peak torque of 25.5 Nm.

The updated Mahindra Mojo does not get equipped with the BS6 engine and this may be a strategy by the company to see the responses of the BS4 models. Transmission option includes a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The front suspension is marked by telescopic forks to keep the cost in check and a monoshock at the rear, taken from the UT trim. The bike also gets a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the back. The bike receives dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment.
The Mahindra Mojo also misses out on the LED DRLs and slipper clutch with the new model. Mind you, both these items are found in Bajaj Dominar. Also, at the side now you get a higher placed single-side exhaust, instead of the twin exhaust found in older models. The golden colour frame also receives a blacked-out treatment.

In order to make the city riding comfortable, the bike gets a reduced rake angle which improves the handling. The ground clearance is now at 165 mm and gets Pirelli sourced Angel CT tyres as an upgrade from the earlier base spec UT trim. Basically, the updated model is a mix of earlier trims and loses out from some pieces of equipment found on the top model.
