We brought you the mileage figures of the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios yesterday and now we have the dimension of this new car. Its larger than the Grand i0.
Hyundai unveiled the brand new Grand i10 Nios a couple of days ago, ahead of its launch later this month. This is the third generation of the Grand i10 and it will co-exist with the current Grand i10 that is on sale in India. The new Grand i10 Nios is a whole lot different from the regular Grand i10 and it comes with host of updates. Now we have new information on the dimensions of the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios measures 3805mm in length, 1680mm in width, 1520mm in height and it will have a wheelbase of 2450mm. Comparing it with the dimensions of the regular Grand i10, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is 40mm longer, and 20mm wider, but the height remains unchanged. The wheelbase has also grown by 25 mm. So it sure is a larger car than the Grand i10.
As for the looks, the Grand i10 Nios retains the overall stance of the regular Grand i10 but that’s where the similarities end. The Grand i10 Nios is based on a new platform. The face is dominated by a large cascade grille which are flanked by angular DRLs on the edges of the grille. The bonnet gets some new character lines and the headlamp units have been completely redesigned with a swept-back look and projector lamps. The fog lamp housing in the bumper too has been redesigned. On the sides, the profile remains largely similar but there are new 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the car gets new tail lamps and bumpers.

The interiors have been completely redesigned too. The dashboard layout seems a little similar to the Kona, except of course there is a gear lever in the center. It gets a new floating infotainment screen which will probably be an 8-inch unit. Gone are the round AC vents as there are new horizontal AC vents below the infotainment screen. It also gets a new automatic climate control unit, a new steering wheel and a 5.3-inch MID with digital speedometer. There are also some textured hexagonal motifs on the dashboard and the door panels which particularly look very quirky.
