Hyundai is going to launch the new Grand i10 Nios hatchback on 20th August, ahead of which the mileage figures have leaked. The figures are better than the regular Grand i10.
Ahead of the launch, the mileage figures of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios have been leaked. The third-gen Grand i10 will be a much-upgraded model and will still continue to be sold beside the regular Grand i10.
The Grand i10 Nios will come with a 1.2 litre petrol engine and a 1.2 Litre CRDi diesel engine, which will be BS-6 compliant. It will be the first model from the manufacturer to sport BS-6 compliant engines.
The petrol engine will produce 81 BHP and 114 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine will continue with 74 BHP and 190 Nm of peak torque. The AMT gearbox from the Santro will come on both the diesel and petrol engines of the Grand i10 Nios, along with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Petrol MT will offer a mileage of 20.7 kmpl, whereas the AMT will offer 20.5 kmpl. As for the diesel variant, the manual variant will offer 26.2 kmpl and the AMT will offer a whooping 28.4 kmpl. The mileage figures are ARAI-claimed and not real-world tested.
Other things new on the Nios will be revised styling, revised interiors and some additional features as well. Importantly, the Nios comes in slightly bigger than the current Grand i10.
Reports suggest that the new model might get some features such as wireless charging, the Bluelink technology, LED projector headlamps and bigger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Lastly, the Grand i10 Nios will get a bigger cabin space than the regular model. The Nios will take on the likes of Maruti Swift and Ford Digo, even more fiercely. As of now, the bookings for the concerned model has commenced across all dealerships for Rs 11,000.
