Kia Seltos top-end petrol trim with automatic transmission will gets blind-spot monitor, ventilated front seats, front parking sensors and among others.
If you are planning to shell out your money for the upcoming Kia Seltos and looking for the petrol top model GTX+ which comes with a plethora of features, well here’s a piece of good news. The model will come with a 7-speed DCT gearbox for the convenience and will also continue with the 6-speed manual transmission.
According to our dealership sources, you can book the petrol GTX+ which is the top model for Kia Seltos. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine churns out 142 bhp along with a peak torque of 242 Nm. It returns a fuel efficiency of 16.2 kmpl.
The 7-speed DCT gearbox used to come with GTX trim but it sure missed out on many features which are available in the GTX+. For starters, the buyers will now get ventilated front seats, 8-way adjustable powered driver’s seat, blind-spot monitor system and more. The latter is the first in the segment.

The top-end model is also equipped with a 360-degree parking camera, powered sunroof, 17-inch crystal cut alloy wheels, front parking sensors and more. Also, for a better surround sound system, the SUV gets equipped with 8 speaker 400W Bose system.
All these features were available before too but then the SUV came with a 6-speed manual transmission. In order to cut down the production cost, manufacturers omit the automatic transmission from the top model. But Kia Motors might have gotten enquiries about the same and now the product will launch sometime later.
The prices for the Kia Seltos are not officially out but we expect it to be priced between Rs 9.99 lakh for the base trim to Rs 14.99 lakh for the top-end trim. Also, with the addition of petrol automatic in topo model, the price might jump close to Rs 16 lakh also. Rest, we just got to wait till Aug 22 for the official details.
