Kia has received overwhelming responses at the unveiling of the Seltos to the customers at select dealerships across the country and the Seltos is now also available for test drive.
As Kia Motors is gearing up to launch their first product in India, they are well expanding their foot across the country. They have already set up 192 dealerships strategically spread across 160 cities across the entire country. These dealerships will also feature Kia’s internet of things (IOT) theme or the Kia link App which basically allows all purchasing and after sales services to be availed by the app.
The Kia Seltos was unveiled to customers in select dealerships across the country including one in Motinagar, New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad as well. The dealerships are also offering the Kia Seltos to the customers for a test drive in some of the select dealerships. The response has been immense and a lot of interested buyers and enthusiasts were seen flocking to the Kia dealerships to check out the car in person.
The company has established 265 touch points across 160 cities in the country and that has been the biggest network a new entrant has ever set up in the country. The Seltos has already gathered record-breaking 6046 bookings on the first day itself and with the bookings still ongoing, the company says they are prepared to handle excess demand.

As for the car itself, the Seltos comes numerous segment first features, some that we only saw in much more expensive some time ago. The car comes with 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED mood lighting, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, drive mode selector, in-car WiFi, rear window curtain, a 8-speaker Bose audio system, an 8-inch heads up display, Traction Control, Brake Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring System and more. It also comes with UVO connect which is basically Kia’s version of connected technology.

The Kia Seltos also gets a number of powertrain options which include 1.5L, petrol and diesel engines but the highlight has to be the 1.4L, turbocharged petrol engine. The Seltos also offers the most transmission options in the segment which includes a CVT, 7-speed DCT, 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual as well. The Kia Seltos will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur, MG Hector, Tata Harrier and the Jeep Compass as well.
