The 2020 Hyundai Tucson might feature BlueLink connectivity and gets split headlight design.
The Tucson is a big and mean-looking SUV from Hyundai Motors and has been in the Indian market since long. However, the sales number are not a hit as per other Hyundai cars and for the same, the brand is now coming up with 2020 Tucson which will launch later in India.
Although, the car spied is completely camouflaged, the observatory details at the front fascia can be seen. 2020 Hyundai Tucson was spied in South Korea and the same production-spec model is likely to enter India.
For starters, the aggressively looking front is likely to get a split headlight design setup like the Venue. The LED Daytime Running Lights positioned above the LED headlamps. Changes in the appearance would also include a large cascading front grille, updated headlamps, revised front bumper and revised fog lamp housing.

The SUV gets a squared out wheel arches and black plastic body cladding running all over. Also, the rear profile is not visible but we can expect a restyled bumper along with tweaked taillights design. One can see the roof rails, dual-tone ORVMs, dual-tone alloy wheels and blacked-out B-pillars.
Reports suggest that the Tucson will be sold in five and seven-seat configuration. The SUV sits on an upgraded version of the ongoing model’s platform. And it will be locally manufactured thus reducing the pricing.

At present, Hyundai offers the Tucson in 5-seat variant and in two engine options – a petrol and a turbocharged diesel engine. The 2.0L petrol motor churns out 153 bhp with 192 Nm of peak torque. The four-cylinder, oil burner produces 182 bhp and 400 Nm torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed AT and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Once launched, it will be a little more premium than what it is sold for now. Currently, the prices for the same are Rs 18.75 lakh and the top model will cost you around Rs 26.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Hyundai Tucson directly competes with the Jeep Compass.
