Hyundai Venue is the first connected compact SUV which offers BlueLink Technology in its segment.
Hyundai late entry to the compact SUV market with the Venue turned out to be quite a fruitful one as the car has crossed 50,000 bookings in just 60 days. The 7-speed DCT, petrol automatic is the highest in demand for the Hyundai Venue.
Hyundai also said that 18,000 Venue have been delivered till now. We also told you that being a hot-selling compact SUV, the Venue has atleast a waiting period of 2 months for some trims. Hyundai currently holds 21% of shares in the SUV market with combined sales of Venue, Creta and Tucson their main head.

We are extremely overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response and milestone created by VENUE with 50,000 bookings within sixty days of launch.

He also added, “We are glad that Indian customers have shown their faith in the Blue Link Connected Technology as out of the total VENUE delivered so far, over 55% of the cars are Blue Link Enabled Variant. Out of the 50,000 Hyundai Venue bookings, over 35% of customers have preferred the petrol automatic transmission”.
For those wondering the features of latest BlueLink Technology then it offers Remote Start/Stop/Door Lock/Climate Control/Horn/Light Control/Real-Time traffic Information/Destination Transfer/Destination Set in Link with Schedule and Vehicle Theft and more.
The petrol automatic gets equipped with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged motor which produces 120 bhp with a peak torque of 172 Nm. Transmission for this engine includes a 7-speed DCT and also a 6-speed manual.
The 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol motor pulls out 82 bhp with a peak torque of 115 Nm and gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.4L turbocharged diesel engine produces 89 bhp and 220Nm of torque. A 6-speed MT is offered on board with the oil burner.
Hyundai Venue hosts a large 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth as connectivity features. It also gets features like an electric sunroof, air purifier, wireless charging and among others.

Safety features onboard include 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP/ESC and Vehicle Stability Management, High-Speed Alert System, Seat Belt Reminders, Hill Assist Control, ISOFIX, Brake Assist, Rear Parking Sensors.
The Hyundai starts at Rs 6.5 lakh for the base trim and the to-end trim goes upto Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford Ecosport and Tata Nexon.
