Suzuki Gixxer SF now gets Suzuki’s legendary Moto GP decals in this new edition. As of now, it only comes in the 155cc one, demanding nearly Rs 1000 more.
Suzuki has launched the Gixxer SF 155 Moto GP Edition with the livery inspired from its Moto GP bikes. The new edition is priced at Rs 1,10,605, demanding Rs 1000 above the regular SF variants.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF Moto GP Edition gets blue coloured paint hob with a big ‘Suzuki’ logo running across the side portion and ‘ECSTAR’ decal just below it. You get an engine bash plate with the Suzuki logo again and some more graphics over the body. You also get a yellow border on the rims.
The racing colour is inspired by the legendary GSX-R series’ legacy. Interestingly, only India has the Gixxer motorcycle series, whereas the global markets have GSX and GSX-S series for naked and fully faired motorcycles.

The new Gixxer SF gets the same 155cc single-cylinder air-cooled SOHC engine along with new fuel injection system. The engine produces 14.1 BHP at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine runs on a 5-speed gearbox.
Suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. The suspension is slightly better from the earlier version. Front and rear disc brake with a single-channel ABS come as standard fitment.
Features onboard include full LED headlamps, LED tail lights, a digital instrument console, instantaneous mileage, riding range, split seats, clip-on handlebars, split grab rails and ABS as standard.

The new Gixxer SF gets a complete makeover as it looks more aggressive and sportier now. The single-piece handlebar has been replaced with clip-ons for an aggressive riding position. The new fairing adds up to the sportsbike-type appeal, which sadly was not available earlier.
With this, Suzuki also launched the Gixxer SF 250, which looks even more different. It gets a 250cc oil-cooled engine and is priced at Rs 1.70 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Suzuki is on a launching spree as it just updated the Gixxer 155 and will soon bring the naked Gixxer 250 to India as well.
