Kia Seltos bookings are taking the Indian market by storm as the car receives an overwhelming response from the potential buyers. The SUV is available in a total of 13 colour options – 8 monotone and 5 dual-tone colours.
Kia Seltos official bookings started on July 16 and the mid-size SUV has received a total of 6,046 bookings in just 24 hours. Such is the overwhelming response from the Indian market that the website alone contributed to about 1,628 bookings.

The Seltos will be manufactured in Kia’s 536-acre Anantapur plant with an annual capacity of 3,00,000 units. The mid-SUV will be launched in India on the 22nd of August and will compete against the likes of Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass, MG Hector and Hyundai Creta.
The Kia Seltos will be available in two trims – Tech Line and GT Line – and will get features such as 8.0 heads-up-display, 10.25 HD touchscreen, a hi-tech sound mood lamp, a rear shade curtain, 360 degree surround view monitor, blind spot monitoring, world’s first connect air-purifier, highly advanced proprietary UVO connect system for seamless and wireless communication with the car, 8-Speaker Bose Hi-Fi sound system and more.

The powertrain includes three BSVI engines – two petrol and one diesel motor. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard along with the availability of CVT for 1.5L petrol, a 7-speed DCT for 1.4L turbo petrol and a 6-speed AT for 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine.
