Suzuki Burgman Street 125 gets a new Matte Black colour and is now available in four colour options. The prices remain the same, at Rs 69,208.
Just like Suzuki has updated the Access 125 SE with a new colour, it has now updated its other 125cc scooter is going to get the same. Suzuki Burgman Street gets a new Matte Black colour option.
With the new Matte Black colour, Suzuki Burgman Street will come with a total of 4 colours, the other three being Matte Grey, Glossy White and Glossy Black. Also, this particular colour works as a magnet for the millennial.
The updated model has already started reaching dealerships. The prices remain the same at Rs69,208 (ex-showroom Delhi). In a day or two, the scooters will be available for display at showrooms.

Burgman Street has been performing decently in the market, provided the competition it faces. Its biggest competition is the feature-loaded, Bluetooth-connected and more affordable TVS Ntorq, which makes more than 15000 units a month.
However, it also competes with the likes of Honda Grazia, which performs even poor. Priced at Rs 68,000 (ex-showroom), it is a maxi-derived scooter, based on the global Burgman Series. It is sort of a touring scooter which gets a large dedicated footrest, for long rides.
It comes with the same engine of the Access, a 124cc engine that produces 8.6 BHP and 10.2 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT gearbox. A 5.6 Litre fuel tank ensures you a riding range of around 250 kms.
Features onboard include LED headlamps, front pocket, a glovebox, a fully digital instrument console, disc brake and a USB charging port as an accessory.

The suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a swingarm at the back. Front disc brake with rear drum brake with CBS as standard gives the braking power to the scooter.
Reports suggest that a bigger Burgman scooter could come to the Indian market in a year or two. To enter the 150cc market, Suzuki might use the Burgman, which currently has Vespa and Aprilia scooters.
