Suzuki India has finally updated the Gixxer 155 naked motorcycle and the new version is priced at Rs 1 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
After updating the Gixxer SF, Suzuki has launched the new Gixxer 155, for an asking price of Rs 1,00,212 (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes in Rs 15,000 costlier than the outgoing version (priced at RS 85,000).
The new Gixxer gets a completely revised design, basically looks much sportier now. The fuel tank gets more muscular and the tank shrouds get sharper. At the front, you get a new LED headlamp with brushed silver surround.
The alloy wheels are the same one seen on Gixxer SF. It now gets split seats and a revised tail portion, completing the new look. The FI badging on the fuel tank says an important update.

The new Gixxer gets fuel-injection system onboard, but the engine remains BS-4 compliant. However, FI will help in the faster compliance of the engine, for the emission norms.
The 154.9cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine produces 14.1 BHP at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm at 6000 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine specs remain the same, but the acceleration will improve slightly, as the case with the new Gixxer SF.
Features onboard include LED headlamps, a new digital console from the new SF, split seats, rear tire hugger, a single piece low-height handlebar and FI as standard fitment.

The suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. For braking, it gets front and rear disc brakes with a single-channel ABS as standard fitment.
The fuel tank capacity stands at 12 Litre, offering an estimated riding range of nearly 500 kms. With FI onboard, we expect the bike to deliver around 45 kmpl fuel economy. You get 17-inch alloy wheels at both the ends.
Further, the new Gixxer is available in three colour options – Black, Silver and Black/Blue dual-tone. The Black and Silver colours look the same as on the new Gixxer SF.
