The SUV segment in India is aggressively rising and manufacturers are bringing in products which ply with the buyer’s needs. They offer more space on the inside, better ground clearance and a tall stance which caters your needs. So here are some top-selling SUV for the month of June 19, to give you an idea of which sells better.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) tops the chart with its compact SUV, Brezza. They managed to sell a total of 8,871 units as opposed to the 10,713 units in June 2018 and accounted for a degrowth of just 17%.
Second in line for the top-selling SUV is the recently launched Hyundai Venue. The manufacturer, in fact, made their entry a late to the compact SUV market but sold a total of 8,763 units. Mind you, the car was only 180 units short of its rival, Brezza.

Hyundai Creta, the trendsetter for mid-size SUV saw a fall of 25% in sales followed by the recently launched Mahindra XUV300. The latter was recently launched with an automatic transmission at Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Interestingly, Tata Nexon saw a growth of 1% in June 2019 when compared to last year. The compact SUV carries all the style statement and comes with loaded features inside. The pricing for the same starts at Rs 6.69 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Ford Ecosport saw degrowth of 19% and units limited to 3,254 only for June this year. and S-Cross from Maruti Suzuki suffered a higher loss at 67% with total units for June 2019 being to 1,359 opposed to 4,128 units for the same month last year.
With 54% lump in sales of Honda WR-V for June 2019, Toyota Fortuner also saw a decline in sales by 40% with total units limited to 1,223. Tata sold a total of 1,216 units of Harrier this month.
