Maserati Levante Trofeo can do a sprint of 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and boasts of a freaking power of 590 bhp.
Italian car manufacturer Maserati is bringing the Levante Trofeo into India by later this year. The company already has a regular Levante for sale in Indian markets available with one diesel engine in three different states of tune.
For those who want a luxurious SUV with loads of performance, that is where the Maserati Levante Trofeo will fill the gap when it comes to India. The company calls it the ‘Ultimate Maserati of SUVs’ as it powers a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine under the hood. It churns out a whopping 590 bhp with a peak torque of 730 Nm. You can do a sprint of 0-100 km/h in flat 3.9 seconds and the top speed is limited to 300 km/h.
Now, coming to what differentiates the Trofeo from the regular Levante apart from the mighty powerful engine is the styling, the SUV gets a sharper revised grille upfront, functional bonnet vents and full LED headlamps.

The SUV sits on 22-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels which help in reducing the weight of the car and the car comes with carbon fibre inserts to the rear, side skirts to enhance further looks. It also sports matte paint scheme internationally which is likely to come into the Indian markets as well.
The interiors of the Maserati Levante Trofeo sees sports seats wrapped in Pieno Fiore natural leather which can be in black, tan or red colour options. The company says that the leather used gives a natural and soft feel when one sits inside the SUV. The headrests come with Trofeo stitching.
It also sports a large touchscreen infotainment unit which gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. It gets a 17-speakers Bowers & Wilkens 1200 watt, surround sound audio system as standard.

The pricing for the same will set you around Rs 2.7 crores (ex-showroom, India) which is quite a premium over its diesel counterparts. The on-going Levante is available in one diesel engine with 3 different states of tune, a 271 bhp, 345 bhp and lastly a 425 bhp. The pricing for the same sticks from Rs 1.50 crore for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 1.59 crore (ex-showroom, India).
