Tata Hexa is a capable off-roader SUV and the same met all the requirements of the Bangladesh Army.
Tata Motors will supply a total of 200 all-wheel-drive Hexa to the Bangladesh Army. According to the reports, Hexa had undergone rigorous testing and have met all the requirements and specifications of the Bangladesh Army.
Tata also said that this order with Hexa has won against the other rivals brand SUVs and this is the first key order from the army of Bangladesh. And that said, Hexa will be made available only for defence use and not for private users.
Tata Motors has been selling passenger vehicles in Bangladesh since 2012 and is currently amongst the top two best selling brands in the country with Tata Tiago, Indigo and Nexon.

Tata Hexa was launched back in 2017 and since then the 7-seater SUV has got many updates with additions and deletions of features. It comes with two BS-IV compliant, 2.2-litre four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine.
The Varicor 320 offers 320 Nm of torque and 148 bhp while the bigger Varicor 400 offers 154 bhp with 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a choice of 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter unit. The SUV gets torque-on-demand four-wheel drive system which is available on the top-end XT trim.

Tata Hexa sits on 19-inch alloy wheels and gets projector headlamps with LED DRLs and faux skid plates which gives the SUV a neat look. On the inside, it gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit which supports Android Auto. It gets a 10-speaker JBL audio system for a better surround system.
Safety features onboard include Six Airbags, Anti Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Traction Control, Rear Parking Sensors, Seat Belt Reminder, High-speed Alert System and Reverse Camera.
Tata Hexa competes with the likes of Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass, MG Hector and Kia Seltos. The pricing for the same starts at Rs 13.26 lakh for the base trim and the top-end trim sets you back by Rs 18.62 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
