New Hyundai Grand i10 gets a floating touchscreen, new alloy wheels, AC vents and among other as premium features.
Hyundai is working on an all-new Grand i10 and several spy shots for the same can be seen. The recent pictures spotted gives a slight idea of how the interiors of the hatchback may look like.
New Grand i10 from Hyundai is expected to in the festive season of 2019. The spy shots reveal it will get a floating touchscreen infotainment system and a new multi-function steering wheel borrowed from the recently launched Venue.
Furthermore, the turbine like AC vents come directly from the Santro followed by an automatic gear lever from the same. On the inside, the touchscreen will support Apple Carplay, Android Auto and Voice Command as connectivity features. Automatic climate control can also make its way in with the upcoming Grand i10.

Though heavily camouflaged on the exteriors, we can still see it follows Hyundai’s design language. The hatchback will now get restyled sweptback headlamps along with new tail lights. A large cascading grille up front and a revamped rear fascia. A set of new alloy wheels will also be seen once the car gets launched.
Under the hood, the same 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines will do the duty. Both the engines will be BS6 compliant and will be mated to 5-speed manual transmission. The current gen 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine churns out 83 bhp with 114 Nm of torque while the turbocharged diesel unit delivers 74 bhp with 190 Nm of torque.
It may be noted that the petrol unit also comes with 4-speed torque converter which will get replaced by 5-speed AMT. Hyundai may also introduce a CNG trim which continues with the current gen model.

Safety features on board will include ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, Dual Front Airbags, ISOFIX mount child seats, Seat Belt Reminders, High-speed alert system will come as standard across all variants.
The prices of the upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 can be expected between Rs 5.2 lakh for the base trim to Rs 7.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will launch later in 2019 and will compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Tiago and Ford Figo.
