A couple of months back, some UM motorcycles were spied at a dealer’s meet in India. There, we got some idea of the upcoming models for India from the two-wheeler manufacturer.
Some leaked photos of the presentation confirmed that UM motorcycles is planning DSR Adventure 200 and Chill 150 ABS scooter for India. That’s when we got to know a new 200cc adventure motorcycle is coming.

There are chances that a completely new adventure motorcycle will be launched. However, the 200cc engine is confirmed. It is likely to get a 199cc air-cooled single-cylinder mill that produces 16 BHP and 16 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Moreover, there are spy shots of two identical looking adventure motorcycles, but one gets alloy wheels and another one goes with wire-spoke wheels. Could be that there would be an off-road oriented as well as a road-biased ADV, just like the Xpulse Twins.
Further, the off-road version gets a larger windshield, dual-purpose tires and rubber gaiters. The tourer version gets a beak-shaped mudguard, multi-spoke alloy wheels and a different type of telescopic forks as well.
Meanwhile, we get to know that UM Motorcycles has split up with Lohia, after entering a partnership in 2014. That comes after UM-Lohia fails to make decent business in the Indian market.
