Tata adds some subtle revision to the features of their sub-4-metre compact SUV, Nexon.
Tata Nexon is already a great selling sub-compact SUV in terms of features and its quirky design. Now with the recent revision in the features, the updates can be seen on both the petrol and diesel trims. All the changes are available
For starters, the top-end variant XZ+ and XZA+ get a 12V rear seat power outlet and piano black door trim finisher from the earlier satin chrome. The inclusion of rear air vents (with cooled AC air flow) from regular rear vents are a bonus. Also, the air adjustable knob has been ditched and now the air flow of the vents can be adjusted from the front controls.
The trims XT, XZ, XZ+, XZA+ see the above changes of ac vents. Furthermore, they also get new roof rails. Other changes like increased antenna length, upgradation of the non-touchscreen infotainment system, gear shift lever knob and centre console colour changes from silver to piano black can also be seen.

The change in colour to piano black from granite black on the surrounds of AC vents can also be observed along with dashboard mid-pad colour upgrade from solver to glossy finish warm grey has been done. Except for the XE trim which is the base variant, all the trims gets updated features.
Tata Nexon was the best selling compact SUV after the Maruti Suzuki Brezza until the Mahindra XUV300 arriver followed Hyundai Venue.
Tata Nexon is available in two engine options, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor and the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The former churns out a total of 108 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque while the oil-burner makes the same amount of power that is 108 bhp and a healthy torque of 260 Nm. Both gets mated to 6-speed manual transmission and an option of 6-speed AMT.
Tata Nexon on the features list gets projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lights, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. The car also gets automatic climate control and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Safety features onboard include dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, seat belt reminders, speed sensing door lock, speed sensing door lock can be seen.
Tata Nexon competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300. The prices for Nexon starts at Rs 6.69 lakh for the base trim while the top-end continues at Rs 11.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
