Reportedly, by the end of June, the deliveries for Jawa Dual-ABS models will commence. The deliveries for single-ABS have already begun across the country.
As we all know, the deliveries of Jawa Motorcycles commenced in April. It came as a relief for customers, as bookings had started back in the first week of November 2018.
Just a month after the launch, Classic Legends launched the dual-ABS versions of Jawa Motorcycles. People who booked the single-ABS had to pay some premium extra, if they wanted to opt for dual-ABS.
While Classic Legends confirmed that the deliveries will commence by March-April period, that of dual-ABS models will commence by June. We expect the deliveries to commence by the end of this month.

People had to wait for more than 4 months to get their motorcycles delivered. However, Classic Legends have confirmed that the production capacity will be increased and the waiting period will soon reduce.
As of now, there are no figures of the total bookings or deliveries done. The manufacturers had aimed to touch 7,500 units per month, which we think have already crossed.
Jawa and Jawa Forty Two are equipped with a 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine, that delivers 27 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The ARAI-claimed mileage of Jawa Motorcycles is 37.5 kmpl. For suspension, it uses telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged twin-shock absorbers at the back. The Jawa gets raised single-piece handlebar while the Forty-Two gets slightly low-set.
Meanwhile, we expect the bookings of Jawa Perak to commence by the end of this year. Total three motorcycles were shown, out of which, Perak was set to launch later. It is a factory-custom Bobber motorcycle.
Perak comes with a slightly bigger 334cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 30 BHP and 31 Nm of peak torque. It gets a single seat and is priced at Rs 1.89 Lakhs. Jawa range starts from Rs 1.55 Lakhs going up to Rs 1.72 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
