Ford Endeavour sales saw an increase due to the recently launched facelift which came with some design changes and more features.
Ford Endeavour sales saw 79% of growth for the month of May 2019. The car which sold a total of 628 units of the SUV as compared to 351 units last year of the same month. The SUV gives a tough competition to the Toyota Fortuner in features list and engine specifications, however, it always takes a hit with its rival when it comes to the sales.
Despite the low sales of Ford India by 30% and selling 6,361 units for May 2019 as compared to 9,069 units for all their cars, Ford Endeavour sales turned out to be a success. The 7-seater SUV is the fourth most selling cars from Ford after the Ecosport, Aspire and Freestyle.
Ford recently introduced a mid-cycle facelift to the endeavour and the car receives new front-grille design, restyled bumpers with revised fog lamp housing and 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. The new addition also includes keyless entry through both driver and co-driver sides.

The interiors of the Endeavour also sees a black and beige theme as opposed to the earlier brown and beige theme. The instrument cluster remains the same with the facelifted model and the car also gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which features SYNC3 that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Ford Endeavour is available in two engine options, a 2.2-litre engine paired to 6-speed automatic gearbox and also comes in manual transmission. This engine gets a two-wheel drive system. It generates a total power of 160 bhp with 385 Nm of torque.
The larger 3.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine gets mated to 6-speed automatic transmission only and churns out 196 bhp of power with 470 Nm of torque. The big SUV gets an all-wheel-drive system.

Safety features of the Ford Endeavour include seven airbags along with ABS with EBD and ESC, front and rear parking sensors along with a rearview camera, hill start and descent assist.
Ford Endeavour starts at Rs 28.20 lakh for the base trim while the top-end trim comes at Rs 33.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturus G4 and Isuzu MU-X.
