KTM RC125 is reportedly going to launch soon in India. Ahead of the launch, the colour options of the bike have been leaked online.
A couple of weeks back we reported that KTM might launch the RC125 in India soon. It was spied a month back in the White and Black colour option. The bike is manufactured in India for the foreign markets.
The new leaked photo shows that KTM RC125 colour options will include the Black-Orange dual tone colour option, which is also seen on the Duke 125 and Duke 200. However, that’s not the only colour that you will get.
We expect the sportsbike to get two more colour options – Orange/White and Full Black. That’s usually the colours that come on most of the KTM motorcycles in India.

RC125 uses the same engine of Duke, which is a 124.6cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, that produces 14.5 BHP at 9250 RPM and 12 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. The motor will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Further, we expect the engine to be BS-6 compliant. That could be the primary reason for its launch to be delayed by a couple of months. It will be the first KTM model to be BS-6 compliant, most likely.
For suspension, it will use WP USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. Braking will be handled by disc brakes at both the ends with a single-channel ABS on offer.

The styling will be the same that comes with the RC200. RC125 will continue with the underbelly exhaust, twin projector headlamps, a digital instrument console, LED tail lights and clip-on handlebars.
KTM RC125 will compete with the likes of Yamaha R15 V3, which is priced at Rs 1.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Expect its prices to be in a similar range, around Rs 1.40 Lakhs.
Reports suggest that it might be launched very soon otherwise will be definitely showcased at the EICMA 2019. At this event, we might also see the KTM 390 Adventure in production ready avatar, finally.
