New Vespa Urban Club has been launched in India for Rs 73,733 (ex-showroom). It is the most affordable Vespa scooter in India, with the same 125cc engine.
Vespa Urban Club has been launched as the most affordable from the brand. It looks identical to the Vespa Notte, but gets new and different colour options to chose from. It is priced at Rs 73,733 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
Urban Club comes in Glossy Red, Glossy Yellow, Maze Grey and Azzuro Provenza options. Yes, its the trademark yellow colour that is available. The rear view mirror, front fender and the front apron get some black highlights.
The alloy wheels are completely blacked out, but the headlamp gets chrome surround. The overall silhouette of the scooter is same as of the other Vespa models.

Vespa Urban Club 125 continues with the same 124.4cc air-cooled engine. The motor is tuned to deliver 9.5 BHP at 7250 RPM and 9.9 Nm at 6250 RPM of peak torque. No BS-6 engine is introduced as of now.
For suspension, it uses a single-side hydraulic arm at the front and a hydraulic shock absorber at the back. Drum brakes at both the ends provide the stopping power with CBS as standard. Disc brake is not offered even as an option.
Features onboard analogue instrument console, round headlamps and rearview mirrors and an improved ‘rider-friendly’ seat. Its flagship feature is the suave retro styling.

Urban Club rivals the likes of Honda Grazia, Suzuki Burgman Street, Aprilia SR125 and TVS Ntorq 125. Urban Club also comes in a near price range of Notte 125 and the ZX125, which replaces LX125.
Piaggio is soon going to launch new scooters under both Vespa and Aprilia brand names. While the latter is going to get a new family scooter, Vespa might also get a similar type of scooter.
