A new Honda Elite scooter has been spied on the Indian roads. It will be launched on 12th June and further gets Fuel Injection System.
Last week, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India sent out an invite for the launch of its first BS-6 scooter. No further details were mentioned. As of now, there is no scooter from the manufacturer rumoured to launch in India.
Reports suggested that it could be the BS-6 Activa 125 launching. However, the latest spy shots suggest that it is a completely new scooter. Honda Elite is the new model to be launched on 12th June.
The new scooter looks similar to the Grazia as well as Dio, but dons a completely new design. The dual headlamps and the indicators come on the apron, which is similarly found on the Grazia.

Honda Elite will come with an FI engine, making it the second model in India after Maestro Edge 125. The engine specifications are unknown, but in the global market, it comes with a 125cc engine that produces 8.52 BHP and 10.54 Nm of torque.
HMSI has confirmed that it is planning 150cc scooters for the Indian market, but are scheduled for 2020. Worst case, it could use the same dull 110cc engine from the Activa series.
At the front, we spot telescopic forks, which confirm that it is a premium model. Further alloy wheels are also spotted, which also looks good. The seat looks a bit small and the grab rail is also unusually large.

Now, that Honda Elite is already available in the global market, it gets features such as a fully digital instrument panel, LED headlamps, LED tail lights, CBS and alloy wheels.
The price expectations for the Elite BS-6 scooter start from Rs 60,000. Reports suggest that it could be the most expensive offering from HMSI, placed over Grazia.
