The Titanium variants of Ford EcoSport reportedly receive minor feature upgrades, and the top-spec Signature variant has been discontinued.
A couple of days back, Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition was spotted at dealerships. With a new variant coming soon, the manufacturer has also tweaked the feature list of the SUV.
Reportedly, the Thunder variant replaces the top-spec EcoSport Signature Edition, which was launched just last year. The upcoming variant will be the top-spec variant with the ‘S’ variant.
The Titanium+ variant will lose many features such as Cruise Control, Leather Seats, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and the Sync3 infotainment system. It will instead get a 9-inch FlyAudio system with sunroof.

Ford EcoSport Thunder variant will come with features such as a 9-inch infotainment system, dual-tone leather interior, rear spare wheel cover, sunroof and a new set of alloy wheels.
Lastly, the Titanium variant misses out on the sunglass holder and a centre armrest for the rear passengers. It will be offered with the 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines, paired to manual gearbox.
The Thunder variant is likely to get the same 1.5 Litre unit in petrol and diesel guises. Reports suggest that it might be available only with the manual transmission.

The Titanium+ will continue with the same 1.5 Litre engines with manual and automatic offered on the petrol. The prices are also going to be reduced by around Rs 45,000
The 1.0 Litre Turbopetrol engine will only come on the S variant. Reports suggest that this variant will be continued in the market. However, there could be a new top-of-the-line variant.
Meanwhile, a new EcoSport is going to make its way in India sometime in 2020. It has been spotted testing in the global market under complete camouflage. The new SUV dons a completely new styling language.

EcoSport Thunder will be priced a bit higher than the Titanium variant, which goes for Rs 9.57 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
