Kia Seltos packs a modern design structure and comes with front ventilated seats and wireless charging and many more features.
Kia SP2i concept will be called Seltos and it will be the first production car from the South Korean carmaker that will rival Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur. The pricing for the same is expected to be in Rs 10 lakh – Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Although it is not sure if the same name will be carried forward to the Indian market.
First showcased at the Auto Expo 2018, the car gained quite an attention among the potential buyers. The overall design of the car packs some lines and angles which gives the SUV bold statement. The front fascia gets the signature tiger-nose grille and an enhanced design with LED daytime running lights sitting below the headlamp unit.
Moving to the side, it gets sharp roof lines along with contemporary alloy wheels design. Both front and rear bumpers come with faux-skid plates which gives the car a neat look. At the rear, it will pack bigger taillights and a fancy chrome bar running in between.

Interior of the Kia also packs some modern features like the contemporary design seen on the outside. The sketches revealed packs a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also offer voice command, 360-degree camera, navigation system and more.
The multi-function steering wheel will house buttons like cruise control, Bluetooth, volume controls. The upcoming SUV also gets some fancy features like driver talk and quiet mode. Drive talk feature will amplify the voice of the driver via a microphone so there is an ease of communication with passengers sitting in the second row.
Ventilated front seats, wireless charging, heads-up display and ambient lighting are also some of the features the car may possess. However, it is expected that these features will come only in the top trims of the SUV.

Kia SP2i plans to enter with two engine options, 1.5-litre capacity for both petrol and diesel. An option of a manual and an automatic transmission will be available. There is an expectancy of a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine too which will be mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Kia Seltos will be unveiled on 20th June 2019.
