Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and SF 155 have been launched in India. Both the bikes have started reaching dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to begin soon.
Suzuki has launched the all-new Gixxer SF 250 with the updated Gixxer SF 155 in India. Both the sportsbike were launched on the same day, with the former priced at Rs 1.70 Lakhs and the latter at Rs 1.09 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Both the bikes have started reaching dealerships for the test ride and display units. Now, you can test the Gixxer SF 250 and SF 155 at dealerships. The deliveries are expected to commence by the end of this month.
The booking amount for both the bikes is Rs 5,000. SF 250 comes in Matte Black and Matte Silver colour options and SF 155 comes in Gloss Black and Gloss Silver options.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 gets a 249cc oil-cooled SOHC engine that produces 26.5 BHP at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm at 7500 RPM of peak torque, while mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
SF 155 uses the same 155cc air-cooled SOHC engine, that puts out 14.5 BHP at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm at 6000 RPM. A 5-speed gearbox comes with the engine, instead of the 6-speed unit on bigger Gixxer.
Both the bikes use the same telescopic forks at the front and a swingarm with monoshock at the back, with stiffer setup. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the ends with dual-ABS on SF 250 and single-ABS on SF 155.
Features on both are same – LED headlamps, clip-on handlebars, split seats, a fully digital instrument console, twin muffler exhaust, a DC socket and ABS as standard fitment.

Meanwhile, the new 250cc engine will soon come on the naked Gixxer and Intruder as well. The Gixxer 250 is scheduled to launch in the festive season 2019, whereas the Intruder 250 is speculated to be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo.
The new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 goes against the likes of KTM RC 200 and Honda CBR250R. As for the SF 155, it rivals the likes of Yamaha Fazer and Hero Xtreme 200S.
