Benelli-Aadishwar Auto Ride India starts its inning in India with the launch of two new adventure motorcycles. TRK 502 and 502X were launched back in February 2019, while the deliveries have commenced now.
The first Benelli TRK 502 has been delivered from Benelli Noida. Till last month, it had received nearly 150 bookings for both the models. TRK bikes are the most affordable in its middle-weight adventure motorcycle segment.
Recently, the prices of both the bikes were hiked by Rs 10,000. Earlier, the TRK 502 went for Rs 5 Lakhs and 502X went for Rs 5.40 Lakhs (ex-showroom Pan-India).

Benelli TRK 502 is the road-biased tourer, whereas the 502X is the complete off-roader. The road-based version uses 17-inch alloy wheels, whereas the 502X uses bigger 19-inch spoke wired wheels at the front.
Both the ADVs use the same 499.5cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, that produces 47 BHP at 8500 RPM and 46 NM of torque at 6000 RPM. A 6-speed gearbox is equipped on the bike.
For suspension, TRK 502 and 502X use the same 50mm USD forks at the front and vertically mounted monoshock at the back. The off-roader version gets slightly higher suspension travel.

TRK 502X is equipped with dual-purpose tires for better off-roading experience. Its seat height stands at 840mm, which is 40mm more than the TRK 502. Rest of the body panels, chassis and electronics aids are the same.
Benelli TRK 502 competes with the likes of Suzuki V-Strom 650, Kawasaki Versys 650 and SWM Superdual T. As said earlier, it undercuts the price of V-Strom and Versys 650 by a huge margin.
