Tata Harrier recently received a software update and now supports Apple CarPlay which was missing when the car was launched earlier this year.
Tata Harrier became an instant success when launched earlier this year basically due to its competitive pricing with its rivals. The SUV stands out in the market due to its agile and unique looks, a long list of features and best in segment car.
The car features an 8.8” touchscreen which is the biggest in its segment and also supports Android Auto. However, Apple CarPlay was missing when the car was first launched in January. Moving on to the current time, Tata Harrier now gets its first official update for supporting Apple CarPlay too. Tata Tago JTP will soon get apple car play too with the new upgraded software.
One can simply go to any Tata service centre and get the infotainment system updated to enjoy Apple CarPlay. The whole software update process will take less than an hour.

Tata Harrier offers best-in-class infotainment system and the speaker set-up in its segment. It gets a 6+ speaker system with a subwoofer sourced from JBL, voice command and steering mounted controls. With its speaker set-up, the SUV gives the consumer a mind-boggling surround sound experience.
Beyond this, Harrier also offers a long list of features which include LED DRL’s, Bi-Xenon projector headlamps, LED Taillamps, automatic climate control, push-button start, terrain modes and engine power modes.
The SUV is big on the safety features too which offers 6 airbags, child seat anchor points, seat belt warning, rear parking sensors, reverse camera, ABS with EBD, Hill hold control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Traction control. The SUV also gets rear parking sensors and reverse camera too.

Tata Harrier draws the power from a 2.0L Turbocharged diesel engine which produces 140bhp with a peak torque of 350Nm. It currently gets a 6-speed manual transmission but soon it will get an automatic transmission too.
