The new Honda CB150R has been launched in the Thailand Market. It is a naked ‘Streetster’ and an upgraded version of the ‘ExMotion’ variant.
Honda CB150R Streetster is a neo-sports cafe-racer, just like the newly launched CB300R. The new variant has been unveiled in the Thai market, priced for Rs 99,800 baht (Rs 2.16 lakh).
The 2019 version is an upgraded version of the CB150R ExMotion, which was showcased at the Thai Motor Show in 2018. That’s why it only gets some revised graphics and colour options to make it look even sportier.
The Honda CB150R is a younger version of the CB300R and it actually looks quite similar. Both the bikes share some of their parts as well, including the frame and suspension setup.

The new CB150R is offered in Ivory White, Nightfire Red and Speedway Mat Black. It additionally gets gets new graphics and red-coloured paint on the brake calipers.
Other than that, there are no further updates. It uses the same 149cc single-cylinder DOHC fuel-injected engine. The engine specifications are unknown, but we expect them to be around 18-19 BHP and 15 Nm of torque.
For suspension purposes, it uses 41mm gold-anodized forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the back. It uses a light-weight swing arm for better handling, indicating its extremely flickable nature.

Braking is handled by a 296mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the back. Further, the brakes are paired with dual-channel ABS with G-Sensor.
Features onboard include LED headlamps, LED tail lights, LCD Multifunction instrument console, Single-Step up seat, underbelly exhaust and dual-ABS. The same features are found on CB300R.
Talking about its launch in the Indian market, reports suggest that Honda CB150R has already been patented for India. The Streetster is expected to make a debut in India by 2020.

If it comes to India, the Honda CB150R will find its perfect competition in the recently launched Yamaha MT-15. Additionally, it will also go against KTM Duke 125. So, expected a pricing of Rs 1.4 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), easily.
