The next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 is expected to launch in India sometime during the festive season this year with a considerable amount of changes.
Apart from introducing an all-new sub-4-meter compact SUV in India, Hyundai is currently also working on a second-generation update for the Grand i10 hatchback. So far there have been a number of sighting of the test mule of this compact hatchback. The vehicle seen in the images, though under heavy camouflage, seems to be a production-ready version.
The 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 will get the latest iteration of the South-Korean automaker’s design language. This means that up-front, this hatchback is going to get a cascading grill design. In fact the headlamps, and the front bumper as also going to get a major overhaul. The overall design of the car will be altered in such a way that it appears more sporty and edgy.

The interiors of the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 are also going to get a major overhaul. The layout will be completely new. It is likely to get a dual-tone colour scheme, just like the current iteration. In terms of features, it is going to get a large touchscreen infotainment system. This unit will support Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
The top-spec models will be equipped with features such as LED daytime running lights, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable and operable IRVMs to name a few.
In terms of safety, right from the base variant onwards, this vehicle is going to get dual-airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors, high-speed alert systems along with driver and passenger seat-belt warning light.

The engine specifications of the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 are likely to change. This vehicle could get, right from the time of the launch, BS-6 complaint engines. If that happens, Hyundai is likely to not introduce a diesel derivative for the Grand i10.
