Jawa Motorcycles has confirmed on Twitter that the nationwide deliveries will commence by the 4th week of March. The dealerships will be opened by the 3rd week.
Good news for the owners of Jawa Motorcycles has finally come. The deliveries of the bike will commence by the 4th week of March. By the 3rd week, all the dealerships will be launched too.
Launched back in November 2018, it has been 5 months since the deliveries commenced. The revival of the legendary brand had an overwhelming response, which was actually seen in the waiting period.
The exact booking figures stand unknown yet. However, Classic Legends have definitely achieved its monthly target of nearly 7500 units, making it around 90000 units for a year.

Alongside, all the dealerships across India will be fully functional by the third week of March. A total of 107 dealerships will be spread across the country, with metro cities having more than 1 dealership.
Currently, the Jawa Motorcycles are sold out till November 2019. Reports suggest that the bookings for the bike might be shut down in Kerala for this year. Kerala has reported the highest number of bookings over the country.
So, we will get to see the exact sales figure in April. For the last two months, merely 40-50 units are dispatched to dealers. The dealerships have started receiving the test ride and display units.

Powering the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two is a 296cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The motor is capable of producing 27 BHP and 32 Nm of peak torque, with the engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Jawa Motorcycles launched 3 bikes in India. The third one, Perak, is yet to be launched in India. Its prices and specifications have been revealed, which goes for Rs 1.89 Lakhs.
The bookings for Jawa Perak will also commence by the end of 2019. It is a factory custom Bobber, which uses a slightly more powerful 321cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.

Jawa and Forty-Two are now available with dual-channel ABS as an option. The prices start from Rs 1.55 Lakhs going up to Rs 1.73 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices).
