Honda is going to launch several new products in the Indian market soon, these will include the ones with hybrid as well as electric powertrains.
Honda Cars India is currently running high on the success of its recent model launches. The Japanese automaker, in the current fiscal, has launched a total of three new products in the Indian market. These include the Amaze sub-compact sedan, the CR-V premium SUV and the Civic d-segment sedan.
The Honda Amaze, which competes with the likes of Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Xcent, is bringing in good sales numbers for the automaker and currently stands as its highest selling product. It is in fact now the entry-level offering since Honda has recently discontinued the Brio, its offering in the compact hatchback segment. This effectively marks the exit of the Japanese automaker from the said segment with no plans to launch an update anytime soon.

With these launched done and dusted, the Honda is likely to upgrade its existing line-up in order to meet the approaching crash test regulations. Which will be followed by a subsequent upgradation to meet the approaching BS-VI emission regulations. The next major product launch, going by recent speculations is going to be the one of the next-generation Honda City.
It is expected that the same is going to make its global debut sometime later this year and that it will arrive in the Indian market during the first half of 2020.
