Yamaha Fascino gets a new paint job – Darknight. The colour option is costlier than the other options by Rs 1500, going for Rs 56,793.
Yamaha introduced the new Darknight paint job on the R15 V3 ABS. Now, the same colour makes it debut on the Fascino scooter. It is priced at Rs 57,793 (ex-showroom).
The Darknight colour gets costlier by Rs 1500. Other colours are priced at Rs 55,293. Yamaha Fascino is available 6 other colour options which include Cyan, Green, Gold, Blue, Beaming Blue and Grey.
Yamaha has already updated the Fascino with Unified Braking System. a.k.a, Combined Braking System. The updated scooters now demand mere Rs 600 over the non-UBS variants.

Yamaha Fascino is powered by a 113cc engine that churns out 7.2 BHP and 8.1 Nm of peak torque. The engine gets mated to a V Automatic gearbox.
The scooter gets a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 Litres, giving an approximate riding range of 200 kms on full tank. It tips the scales at 103 kgs, being one of the lightest in the segment.
Features onboard include a stylish headlamp, front hook, Longer seat, Raised grab rail, USB Charging port in the boot, Storage on the front apron and a retro-styled analogue speedometer.

For suspension purposes, it uses telescopic forks at the front and Unit Swingarm suspension at the back. Braking is handled by 130mm drum brakes at the front as well as the back.
Yamaha launched the popular Fascino back in 2015. It was a better and classy looking scooter when compared to Alpha and the very first Ray. Now, the RayZ and Ray ZR are the two best looking models from the brand.
Fascino is also the best selling scooter from the Yamaha stable. For the month of January, it reported 12493 sales units, which is nearly 40% more than Ray series and 12 times more than Alpha.

It competes with the likes of Honda Aviator, Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Lets, Hero Duet and Hero Maestro. As we all know, Activa is the best seller here followed by TVS Jupiter.
