With these segments done and dusted, Mahindra is now looking to upgrade the rest of its pack which includes cars like the Thar, Scorpio and the XUV 500.
According to a recent report, Mahindra is currently working on an all-new 2.0-litre diesel engine. This oil-burner is soon going to replace the automaker’s 2.2-litre mHawk engine which currently does its duty on the Scorpio and the XUV 500. Not only this, but this 2.0-litre engine is also going to be plonked under the hood of the Thar.
