Yamaha R15 V3 has been spotted at a dealership with a yellow colour paint job. Reports say that it could be a Special Edition launching soon .
Yamaha R15 V3 ABS was launched last month, which gave the bike a new ‘Darknight’ colour too. Now, a Bright Yellow colour R15 has been spotted at a dealership.
The first-generation R15 got the same Yellow paint job. However, we are not sure if this paint job is officially from Yamaha or done by the dealership. Cartoq reports that it might be a Special Edition of the bike.

Other than these visual upgrades, there are no other changes on the bike. Yamaha R15 V3 will now be available in 4 colour options – Racing Blue, Grey, Darknight and Yellow.
R15 was just updated with a dual-channel ABS setup, which was long pending. The updated bike is now priced at Rs 1.39 Lakhs, with a hike of Rs 14,000 over the non-ABS version.
Yamaha R15 V3 gets a 155cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that delivers 19 BHP and 14.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.

Features onboard include full LED headlamps, split seats, LED tail lights, Low-end clip-on handlebars, dual-channel ABS and a fully digital instrument cluster.
R15 is Yamaha’s one of the best selling motorcycles since the first one was launched. Despite being a premium 150cc motorcycle, it sells more than 4,000 units on an average per month.
Soon, Yamaha R15 V3 is going to get a naked street fighter version. Yamaha MT-15 is launching in India soon, mostly on 15th March. It has been spotted testing in India a couple of times now.

MT-15 will borrow the engine, suspension and features from R15 V3. The price of MT-15 is expected to be around Rs 1.3 Lakhs, near to that of R15 V3.
