Apparently, Bajaj Pulsar 180F has been launched in India. It gets the same old engine but with the semi-faired styling cues of Pulsar 220F.
New Bajaj Pulsar 180F comes as a shock in the Indian market. It borrows its styling from Bajaj Pulsar 220F, to distinguish itself from the regular looking Pulsar 150.
Thrustzone has reportedly leaked a photo of the new bike along with its prices. The engine specifications and the cycle parts remain the same as earlier.
Bajaj Pulsar 180F is priced at Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom), costlier than the non-faired Pulsar 180 by Rs 2,500. The non-faired version is also available alongside.

Looks like Bajaj has rolled out this major update for buyers who were looking for a big motorcycle under the budget of 1 Lakh. Pulsar 220F now gets ABS, which goes above a Lakh.
Based on the photo, it gets the ‘Neon’ colour option, which recently came up with Pulsar 150. It might use Pulsar 150’s other colour options including the laser decals too.
Mechanically, it continues with the same 180cc engine. Bajaj Pulsar 180F uses an air-cooled 180cc engine that puts out 17 BHP and 14 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

For suspension, it gets telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged twin shock absorbers at the back.
Front and Rear disc brakes handle the braking system of the bike. It will soon get a single-channel ABS, which will increase the prices by Rs 6000-7000.
Bajaj Pulsar 180F will continue to compete with TVS Apache RTR 180, its age old rival. Now the competition gets more tough with Pulsar available in regular and semi-faired styling.

This might help Bajaj to bolster the sales of its Pulsar range. Although, Bajaj Pulsar is the best selling series in India. Many Pulsar variants sell more than the commuter bikes in Bajaj’s stable.
