Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been introduced in India at a price of Rs 10.49 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It is one of the priciest models in the 600-700cc segment.
In October 2018, Kawasaki India confirmed the launch of Ninja ZX-6R and commenced the bookings. Now, the bike has been launched in market and will also be assembled in India.
The bookings already began last year and deliveries for the same will begin by February. Currently, it is the only supersport motorcycle in its segment. It draws inspiration from the elder supersport, Ninja ZX-10R.
Ninja ZX-6R uses a 636cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke in-line four cylinder engine. The bike puts out 125 BHP @ 13,500 RPM and 70.8 Nm @ 11000 RPM of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with Kawasaki Quick Shifter.

For suspension purposes, Ninja ZX6R uses 41mm Inverted Forks with rebound and compression damping at the front and Bottom-link Uni Trak gas-charged shock absorber with spring preload adjustmemnt at the back.
It uses dual semi-floating 310mm petal discs as the front brake and a single 220mm disc brake at the back.
Safety features onboard include Kawasaki Intelligent Antilock system, Kawasaki Quick Shifter and Traction Control.

Other features onboard include Adjustable Brake and Clutch Lever, Twin LED headlamps, Digital-Analogue instrument cluster and LED tail lights.
The instrument cluster displays information such as gear position indicator, fuel gauge, remaining range function and a large tachometer.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R weighs 196 kgs in total. It gets a fuel capacity of 17 litres, making the riding range go up to 300 kms and more. It gets a ground clearance of 130mm and a wheelbase of 1400mm.

Not many motorcycles come in a similar price range of Rs 10 Lakhs. The nearest one you can opt for are bigger 900-1200cc motorcycles. In this price, you can also opt for Ninja 1000.
