Back in 2017, TVS Jupiter 125 was spotted fully camouflaged with a fuel injected engine. It would be a perfect rival to Activa 125 and Access 125.
TVS Jupiter is the second best selling scooter of the country. It is a simple designed family targeted 110cc scooter. Despite having many more features than Activa 125, it still doesn’t overtale Activa in sales.
The spy shots of TVS Jupiter 125 that came up in 2017 suggest that TVS is considering it. As of now, it has 110cc Wego, 110c Zest, Scooty Pep, 110cc Jupiter and 125cc Ntorq. So technically, it does not have a family focused 125cc scooter.
TVS Ntorq qualifies as a sporty scooter, mainly because of its look and riding manners. The power figures are high, the engine is peppy and even the seat is a bit small. A small seat is the biggest disadvantage for a family scooter.

Due to the Jupiter brand name, the 125cc Jupiter will be popular instantly. TVS Jupiter 125 then will be able to take on the might of Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. Both are family focused 125cc scooters and are also one of the best performing scooters around.
TVS Jupiter 125 will use Ntorq’s 125cc engine but in a different state of tune. The throttle response will be light and the engine will overall focus on better mileage rather than performance.
This 125cc engine produces 9.4 BHP of power and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. This engine is amongst the most powerful engines of the segment.

Coming to the features, we expect it to borrow some of them from Ntorq 125. For instance, Jupiter 125 might use the Bluetooth connected digital speedometer from Ntorq. The same features will come inside the speedometer.
Other features could include LED headlamps, Charging port, external fuel filler cap and dual steering lock. For safety purposes, it might offer a disc brake on option.
In terms of pricing, it is expected to wedge between TVS Ntorq 125 and TVS Jupiter. However, the top-end variant of Jupiter matches with the price of Ntorq. Both are priced around Rs 60,000.
