Prices of Isuzu D-Max and Mu-X are set to increase with effect from 1st January 2019. Both the UVs have noticed their 3rd price hike since their first launch in India.
With effect from 1st January 2019, prices of Isuzu D-Max Pickup truck and MU-X SUV are set to increase. The prices will increase by 1-2% for the commercial vehicles and 3-4% of the private and lifestyle vehicles.
Commercial vehicles include Isuzu D-Max Regular Cab and D-Max S-Cab. The prices will increase by Rs 15,000-Rs 1 Lakh for all the models and variants. Isuzu states the increasing input and distribution as the primary reason for this.
Current prices of Isuzu D-Max Cabs range from Rs 6.68 Lakhs up to Rs 8.88 Lakhs. The V-Cross, being a lifestyle vehicle is priced from Rs 14.82 Lakhs up to Rs 16.31 Lakhs. Isuzu MU-X is priced from Rs 26.34 Lakhs up to Rs 28.31 Lakhs.

Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is the first Adventure oriented pickup truck in India. Along with this, the pickup is also very known in the off-roading circles. With its huge body, body on frame chassis and huge wheel arches, the V-Cross shines out on the muddy, slippery and swampy patches.
D-Max V-Cross comes with a 2.5 Litre Turbo Intercooled diesel engine, that produces 100 BHP of power and 320 Nm of peak torque. For transmission, it uses a 5-speed manual gearbox. Also, it offers shift=on-the-fly 4WD drivetrain system.
Off-roading features and mechanicals include a 4WD system, Traction Control System and High ride suspension.

Other features onboard Isuzu D-Max V-Cross include 6-way Electrically Adjustable Driver Seat, Auto Cruise, touchscreen infotainment system, Keyless Entry, Auto AC, Electric ORVMs, Projector headlamps and LED DRLs.
Safety features onboard include Electronic Stability Control, rear parking sensors, Rear view camera, ABS with EBD and BA, Dual Airbags, ISOFIX and rear defogger.
On the other hand, Isuzu MU-X gets a more powerful engine of 3.0 Litre diesel. It also offers more features such as Android Auto with Apple CarPlay, Climate control AC and more. The SUV also offers more safety features that D-Max V-Cross.
MU-X is also known as one of the most affordable SUVs in its segment. Also, it offers the best-in-class cabin space.

As of now, there is no competition for Isuzu D-Max V-Cross. For MU-X, it gets competition from Mahindra Alturas, Toyota Fortuner, Honda CR-V and Ford Endeavour. Upcoming 7-seater Tata Harrier will be priced near to MU-X SUV.
