2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 might be launched next week. After numerous spy shots of the bikes, a report says that the manufacturing of the same has already begun.
Bajaj Dominar is the most powerful offering from the homegrown two-wheeler maker’s stable. It uses the 373cc engine of KTM Duke 390, which is owned by Bajaj Auto.
Launched back in 2016, it has been one of the slowest performers for the brand. Primarily because buyers do not look beyond the Pulsar range. Bajaj Auto has its best sellers in Pulsar series and Platina.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto has already started testing the updated version of Dominar. It has been spotted testing a couple of times under heavy camouflage. Bajaj might introduce the updated version sometime in 2019.

Latest reports state that 2019 Bajaj Dominar will get a refined and more powerful BS-6 compliant engine. The power figures would increase a bit and it will also be tuned to generate a flat torque curve.
Currently, Dominar 400 draws power from KTM-sourced 373cc liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 35 BHP and 35 Nm of peak torque. For transmission purposes, it uses a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
Other mechanical upgrades will include an addition of Upside Down Telescopic Forks. Currently, it uses conventional telescopic forks at the front. It will also get a twin exhaust muffler setup, replaced the single unit in the current model.

A revised instrument cluster is also seen on the spy pics. Currently, it comes with a fully digital cluster with reverse RPM display.
Other features onboard include Auto-headlamp On, LED headlamps and standard fitment of dual-channel ABS. Non-ABS variant was recently discontinued due to the upcoming emission norms.
