Tata Harrier interiors have been teased officially. The SUV will get an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and semi-digital instrument cluster.
Tata Harrier is all set to launch in India by January 2019. The SUV was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and we can say that it looks identical to the showcased concept. Tata Motors recently revealed its exterior in a teaser, which showed the production of Harrier.
Now, Tata Motors has teased the dashboard of Harrier. The teaser is basically an outline and not the official photo. As per reports, the interiors will be fully revealed in early December.
The teaser shows that the production model follows the same design layout of the concept. A floating 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment takes the centre space. Below the infotainment, are knobs and AC vents.

The dashboard follows a dual-tone grey and brown colour scheme, which looks quite rich. It gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel, which will, of course, come with volume and other controls. The silver accented line flows throughout the dashboard, around the AC vents and on the steering wheel.
The spy pic which was circulated earlier, reveals a lot of details about its dashboard. The SUV sports minimum knobs at the centre space, making it clutter free and clean. It gets a semi-digital instrument cluster, which as per reports has been sourced from Visteon.
Visteon makes infotainment systems and instrument clusters and Tata Motors-owned JLR uses their system in Range Rover Velar. The infotainment system will be equipped with android auto, Apple CarPlay, satellite navigation, reverse camera and other telematics features.

It will use Harman Kardon for audio system, just like the other Tata Models. Top-variants might come with a sub-woofer setup too.
Tata Harrier comes with a 2.0 Litre KYROTEC diesel engine, which is a rebadged and retuned Fiat Multijet engine. The engine puts out 140 BHP and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine uses a Variable Geometry Turbocharger system, which helps in generating higher amounts of torque.
For transmission purposes, it uses a 6-speed manual gearbox. The automatic unit will debut with the 7-seater variant of Harrier. The 7-seater Harrier is in the upcoming list and might launch by end of 2019.
