Ducati Panigale V4 R superbike has been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 51.87 Lakhs. Total 5 units are only available for sale in India. Bookings are now open across all dealerships in India.
Ducati has launched its flagship superbike, Panigale V4 R in India. The most powerful bike from Ducati gets race-inspired livery and Ducati’s racing DNA. The bike is priced at Rs 51.87 Lakhs (ex-showroom pan-India).
Only 5 units of the bike are available in India. The bookings for the same have commenced starting today at all Ducati dealerships. For bookings done before 30th November, the deliveries will begin in the first Quarter of 2019. For bookings after this date, the deliveries will begin after the second Quarter of 2019.
Ducati Panigale V4 R is a road-legal pure racing bike and comes with the same platform and mechanics, which will undermine the Ducati Superbikes in 2019 Moto GP season.

V4 R gets a comparatively lower powered 998cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. The engine puts out 221 BHP on tap and 112 Nm of peak torque. For transmission purposes, it gets a 6-speed Ducati Quick Shift system. The engine uses an electronic fuel injection system and a ride-by-wire throttle system.
For suspension, it uses Fully Adjustable 43mm Ohlins in the front and Fully Adjustable Ohlins unit at the back. Ducati Panigale V4 R uses Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires at the front as well at the back, with different sizes.
For braking purposes, it uses 330mm semi-floating Brembo discs up front and 245mm disc brake with Bosch Cornering ABS EVO on both ends.

Features onboard include fully digital display unit with 5″ TFT colour display, Ducati Power launch, Different riding modes, Power modes, Full LED lighting with DRLs, GPS navigation, Auto-off indicators and high-flow air filter.
For safety purposes, it uses Bosch Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Ducati Slide Control, Engine Brake Control and Auto Tyre Calibration.
It also offers Ducati Multimedia system, Anti-theft alarm and Ducati Data analyser as optional accessories. The bike also includes an Aero Pack designed directly by Ducati Corse to improve on-track aerodynamic efficiency.
