2019 TVS Apache RTR 180 has been launched and it receives some feature additions. The prices of the updated bike start at Rs 84,578 up to Rs 95,932 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
TVS has launched the refreshed Apache RTR 180 with some visual upgrades and some feature additions as well. The RTR 180 has been in the lineup for quite a sometime and is one of the oldest models in their lineup.
TVS recently completed a key sales milestone 3 Million units till date and the refreshed bike has been launched in its celebration. It is one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India.
The visual upgrades include unique race-inspired graphics, novel Alcantara like finish seats, a crash guard with integrated frame sliders and a forged handlebar end weights.

2019 TVS Apache RTR 180 gets a revised instrument cluster with a back-lit speedometer with dial-art and addition of dual-channel ABS. Earlier, it was equipped with a single-channel ABS setup, which was optional.
2019 Apache RTR 180 comes in five colour option – Pearl White, Gloss Black, T Grey, Matte Blue and Matte Red. The non-ABS version is priced at Rs 84,578 and ABS version is priced at Rs 95,932 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
Mechanically, updated RTR 180 continues with the same engine and transmission. It comes with a 177.4cc air-cooled engine that produces 16 BHP and 15.8 Nm of peak torque.
For transmission purposes, it uses a 6-speed gearbox. The top-speed achievable on this bike is around 114 km/hr.

Other features onboard include adjustable clip-on handlebars, Halogen headlamps, LED pilot lamps, LED Tail Lamps, Digi-Analog instrument cluster and a single seat. Safety features include front and rear disc brake as standard fitments with an option of a dual-channel ABS setup.
For suspension purposes, TVS Apache RTR 180 uses Telescopic Forks with Hydraulic dampers up front and Monotube Inverted Gas-filled Shox with spring aid at the back. For better grip and performance, it also uses Remora racing tires.
RTR 180 weighs around 137 kgs with a full fuel tank. It gets a fuel tank capacity of total 13 Litres, which gives it a rough riding range of around 500 kms on a full tank. The expected mileage is around 40 kmpl.

Apache RTR 180 still continues its age-old rivalry with Pulsar 180. Since the early 2010s, both have been constantly battling. With new entrants in the lineup, these two are the most consistent bikes. Their sales are also decent despite being one of the oldest ones.
