A new teaser of Jawa 300 is out. The interesting thing is that we get to know how the upcoming motorcycle sounds. 4 Jawa motorcycles will be launched on 15th November.
Ahead of its scheduled launch in 3 DAYS, a new teaser video is out on Jawa Motorcycles’ official Twitter account. What appears is the Jawa 300 Classic cruising through road with the catchphrase ‘Have you seen it all?’. In the video, the exhaust note of Jawa 300 has been revealed. So, we finally know how the upcoming motorcycle sounds! Mahindra and Classic Legends promised the audience that it will try to make an identical sound to the original Jawa as much as possible. So, now we can say that it is a true revival.
As we hear the sound of Jawa 300, we can say it is quite distinctive. Also, the exhaust note sounds aggressive and the intensity will increase with acceleration. The throaty exhaust note is a bit similar to that of the 2-stroke Jawa. However, we cannot get the exact sound of the 2-stroke Jawa from a 4-stroke engine.

As we know now, Jawa 300 looks quite similar to its original version. The distinctive styling highlights of the motorcycle include iconic round headlamps, bulbous fuel tank with ‘Jawa’ inscription, dual exhaust canisters, single tan seat, front and rear fender styling and of course, oodles of chrome dippings.
Jawa 300 will come in 4 iterations – Classic, Scrambler, Bobber and a cafe racer. As of now, we have a clear photo of the Classic, which is basically the older Jawa styling with modern upgrades. We also have a camouflaged photo of the Scrambler. Jawa Motorcycles has teased the 4 bikes through sketches.

All the 4 motorcycles will use a 293cc liquid-cooled engine that is newly developed. The engine produces 26 BHP and 28 Nm peak torque. The motorcycle also gets dual overhead camshafts and fuel injection system. The engine pairs up with a 5-speed gearbox.
Most likely, Jawa 300 motorcycles will get a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. 300 Classic will come with conventional telescopic forks in the front and gas-charged dual rear shock absorbers. Scrambler might sport a different suspension unit altogether.
In the olden times, Jawa Motorcycles went against Royal Enfield bikes. Again, now, the competition remains the same. All the 4 Jawa Motorcycles will rally up against Royal Enfield bikes. We expect a starting price of around Rs 1.3 Lakhs, which will be different for each iteration.
