Hyundai Creta Diamond Edition has been unveiled at the ongoing Sao Paulo motor show in Brazil! Based on the Prestige trim is gets 200 extra features.
At the ongoing Sao Paulo Motor Show Hyundai has revealed the Diamond Edition of the Creta compact SUV. This special edition concept is based on the top-end Prestige trim of this vehicle. Reports state that the Hyundai Creta Diamond Edition (Read More) comes with 200 changes and upgrades over the Prestige trim.
To begin with, it comes with a new metallic Blue (Deep Dive) colour scheme. In addition to this, it comes with a panoramic sunroof and microfibre dual tone eats in ivory and caramel colour options. Furthermore, it gets blacked out roof, wing mirrors and new 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Hyundai Creta Diamond Edition comes with a the BlueNav infotainment system. It offers connectivity through Android Auto and Apple Car play. In addition to this, it comes with a JBL sound system with 3 amplifiers, 6 speakers and one subwoofer. Rear seat passengers get mounted 10-inch screens with internet connectivity.

The Hyundai Creta Diamond Edition comes with different engine specifications in comparison to the model sold in India. In the Brazilian market, the Hyundai Creta comes with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine. This engine is available in both petrol as well as ethanol configurations. In the petrol guise, this engine churns out 155BHP along with 184 Nm of peak torque. In the Ethanol guise, this engine produces 166BHP along with 201 Nm of peak torque.

So far there is no confirmation is the Hyundai Creta Diamond Edition will go on sale or not. And there are no signs of it coming to India as of now. Currently, the top-spec trim of the Creta goes well over 15 lakh in India. If launched, the Diamond Edition is likely to cost close to INR 18 lakhs. This will make it reach the territory of Jeep Compass.

In India, as you must be well aware, the Hyundai Creta only recently received it mid-life update. With altered design and added features, the new iteration of this compact SUV is currently amongst the top 10 best-selling cars in India.
Recent developments suggest that Hyundai has already started working on the next-generation Hyundai Creta. Speculations put the launch date of the new Creta in India sometime around the year 2020.
