Jawa Motorcycles is launching in India on 15th November. We expect the prices of the Jawa to be around Rs 1.3 Lakhs as it directly rivals RE Classic 350.
The revival is just around the corner. The legendary Jawa Motorcycles (Read More) is all set to launch on 15th November. People made the Jawa a cult guru after it was stopped in 1996. In this case, the older the better. Old Jawas and Yezdis dated back to 1970s and 1980s are rare to find. Ones that are found are sold for exorbitant prices. As our sources say 3 bikes ranging from 250-400cc will be launching. The first product will be a 300cc bike. The 300cc bike will take on the might of Royal Enfield Classic 350.
Talking about price expectations, since it is going to compete with Classic 350, it might come in a similar price range. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 starts off at Rs 1.39 Lakhs onwards.

As per our sources, the prices of this 300cc bike will be much below the Mahindra Mojo. So, we expect the prices to start off Rs 1.3 Lakhs onwards. The pricing will increase depending on the colour variants it offers. RE follows the same process and increases the prices for more premium colours.
At this price range, it will go come in competition with Bajaj Dominar 400 and Mahindra Mojo UT 300. THe Dominar 400 starts of at Rs 1.48 Lakhs and the Mojo UT 300 starts off at Rs 1.49 Lakhs.

But, most of the people would prefer Jawa bikes because of their fascination towards it. Till date, the brand has a huge fan following in India. For a new buyer, it will be a tough decision to choose between the competition.
Jawa has revealed the 296cc engine that is going to come in the first bike. It is a liquid cooled single cylinder engine that puts out 27 BHP and 28 Nm on tap. The engine offers a generous mid-range and flat torque curve. Despite being 50cc lesser than Classic 350, it produces more power than the Classic. For transmission, it will use a 5-speed gearbox.
Jawa claims that it will try to make the bike look as original as before. It claims that engineers are trying to make its exhaust note sound as original as the yesteryear bike. The bike will retain the iconic round headlamps, single sea, dual exhaust muffler and its original charm.

There are no other details present nor there is any other information on the other bikes. But there are reports suggesting that one of the three motorcycles will come from the Yezdi brand.
