Okinawa Ridge+ electric scooter has been launched in India at a price of Rs 64,998 (ex-showroom). The E-scooter gets a mileage of 120 kms on a full charge.
Okinawa+ Ridge Electric scooter has been launched in India. The Gurugram based Electric scooter company already launched its first product, Okinawa Praise some time back. The Ridge+ electric scooter comes with a price tag of Rs 64,998 (ex-showroom pan India). At this price, it is one of the costliest Electric scooters when you compare it with E-scooters of Hero, Avon, and 22 Flow. The Ridge+ offers a total riding range of 120 kms on a full charge. A lot of E-scooters have a range of 100-120 kms.
It gets an 800-watt BLDC Waterproof motor, powered by Lithium-ion battery. The peak power of the scooter is 1200 Watts and the top speed achievable is 55 km/hr. Okinawa Ridge+ is available in two colours – Lucent Orange/ Magna Grey & Mid Night Blue.

The battery of Okinawa Ridge+ takes about 4-6 hours to fully charge. If you have a fast charger, it will take about 1-2 hours for the full charge. For charing, the Ridge+ uses a micro charger with Auto Cut.
The features onboard the scooter include a digital speedometer with riding range, Electronic Assisted Braking system, Center locking with Anti-Theft Alarm, Keyless entry and Find my scooter function. For braking, it uses front and rear drum brakes.

The Okinawa Ridge+ electric scooter gets a seat height of 774 mm and has a loading capacity of 150 kgs. The E-Scooter is 1725 mm long, 695 mm wide and 1080 mm tall. The ground clearance of the scooter is 160 mm. In the front, it uses Telescopic Hydraulic suspension and Double Shocker suspension in the rear.
The Okinawa Ridge+ Electric scooter is available across all authorized dealers. In the first month, the company aims to roll out 500 units of the scooter in few states, followed with 1500 units by next month. After the initial few months, Okinawa aims to increase the production of Ridge+.

Okinawa’s other E-Scooter, Praise is more powerful, stylish and feature packed. It gets a 1000 watt motor that gives a riding range of 170-200 kms with a top speed of 75 km/hr. It gets LED headlights, Key Less entry, DRLs, double disc brake in the front and a single disc brake in the rear.
